For our 2015 refresh and redesign of the Aqua Blue Pools website, our objectives were:

  • Creating a great "frame" for their beautiful pools: The design is intended to support a premium brand with a clean, crisp look without distracting from the real star of the show: photography of the exquisite, custom built swimming pools.

  • Easy navigation, in spite of the complexity of pool types and services available: With such a visual product, it was important to clearly draw users into browsing the extensive photo galleries of their custom pools. Since user experience studies show people are more likely to click navigation links that are always visible, we integrated a submenu of the galleries of various types of pools and made it visible from every part of the website without the need to "mouse-over". This method also has SEO or search engine placement benefits, so people looking for a particular kind of pool can more easily find Aqua Blue Pools' website with a search.

  • Integration with the educational content and social media accounts: Our content marketing strategy with Aqua Blue Pools is to empower people with cutting edge information to help them maximize the beauty and enjoyment of their pool projects.
